Honolulu, Hawaii- March 25, 2014 - Currently undergoing a $2.5 million renovation, Aqua Hospitality’s Waikiki Joy Hotel will emerge with a fresh urban loft meets island paradise design and a brand new name: Aqua Oasis.

“Aqua Oasis will be a wonderful reflection of Waikiki’s stylish urban setting and inviting Hawaiian spirit,” said Elizabeth Churchill, senior vice president sales and marketing. “We anticipate it being a draw for a diverse audience that includes design savvy travelers, families, and groups.”

Expected to be completed by April 15, 2014, Aqua Oasis will be branded an Aqua Hotels and Resorts property and feature redesigned guest rooms, common areas and exterior landscaping. The renovated hotel will offer an “urban loft meets Hawaii” design inspired by the property’s large spacious suites and loft-like apartments, which favor groups and families. In the guest rooms, San Francisco designer Anthony Laurino has combined playful design elements, such as bold patterns and bright color accents, with a backdrop of fresh neutral colors and natural finishes reflective of the hotel’s city-based, island location. The open lobby space will be transformed into a social hub for guests with a welcoming communal feel. Summa International is overseeing the renovations.

Aqua Oasis is centrally located in the heart of Waikiki at 320 Lewers St. The 91-room property is within walking distance to the area’s best beaches, shops, dining and nightlife. Reservations can be made by visiting www.aquahospitality.com
