For a Newly Created Alliance of Relais & Châteaux Properties of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic
WATCH HILL, RI (January 7, 2014) - The Ocean House is pleased to announce the addition of Jane Galosic as Director of Leisure Sales for a newly created Relais & Châteaux of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic Alliance, including the Ocean House (Watch Hill, R.I.), the Weekapaug Inn (Weekapaug, R.I.), The Inn at Little Washington (Washington, Va.), Blantyre (Lenox, Mass.) and the Charlotte Inn (Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.).
In her newly created position, Galosic will be responsible for both travel industry and direct leisure consumer relationships, as well as building strategic relationships with various charitable organizations to which the hotels can provide support while gaining exposure to potential new guests.
Galosic brings with her a strong background in luxury travel sales with experience at other hotels such as The St. Regis in New York City; The Ritz-Carlton, Central Park in New York City; and most recently, the Mandarin Oriental in New York City, where she served as Director of Sales. Galosic also has experience in representing hotel groups, having previously worked with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where she served as a liaison for 13 properties.
‘We are very excited to have Jane representing not only our two properties on the Rhode Island coast, but to also be joined in this new endeavor by our fellow Relais & Châteaux properties: the Inn at Little Washington with its iconic chef Patrick O’Connell; Blantyre, which has been a jewel in the Berkshire mountains for decades; and the Charlotte Inn on Martha’s Vineyard, a property steeped in the history of the island,” stated Daniel A. Hostettler, President and Group Managing Director of the Ocean House and the Weekapaug Inn. “These Relais & Chateaux properties share a common vision of providing unique luxury experiences for our guests, while each representing different regional opportunities to visit in the northeast.”
“This alliance is much more than simply a fine collection of charming hotels with outstanding restaurants - all five properties share ideals and values that are steeped in the highest levels of hospitality and as premier Relais & Chateaux hotels, it is only natural that we would join together to share our story with the leisure sales and travel agent community,” said Thomas List II, General Manager of the Inn at Little Washington. “We feel Jane will have an impressive story to tell about our properties, the level of service we provide to the luxury travelers, the diverse locations we offer, and the unique experiences available to guests who visit our respective properties.”
Galosic will be based out of New York City and will represent each of the five hotels individually, in addition to as a collective group through their Relais & Châteaux of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic Alliance.
