DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Hotel and Lodging Association of Volusia County held its 10th Annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon at Café 101 located in the Mori Hosseini College of Hospitality and Culinary Management on the campus of Daytona State College.
Over 200 people attended the event that recognized 35 employees with over 300 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The guest speaker was Mori Hosseini. The culinary and hospitality students at Daytona State College prepared and served the meal.

Each year we recognize a person for their outstanding contribution to the hospitality industry with the Tom Staed Award and this year’s recipient was Gary Brown, Owner of the Sun Viking Lodge for 43 years of service in the hospitality industry.
Bob Davis, President/CEO of the Hotel & Lodging Association with over 50 years in the hospitality stated this was one of his proudest moments to honor those in this great industry.
