Shaner Hotels & Prime Hospitality to Partner on 145-room Boutique Hotel as Part of FL’s ONE DAYTONA

June 23, 2014 - DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - ONE DAYTONA, the proposed world-class mixed-use and entertainment destination across from Daytona International Speedway, selected Shaner Hotels and Prime Hospitality Group (PHG) as its hotel partners. Shaner Hotels and PHG are planning a 145-room, full-service boutique property and are working with global hospitality leader Marriott International to bring an exclusive Marriott Autograph Collection® hotel to Daytona Beach and ONE DAYTONA. Projected to open in 2016 with Bass Pro Shops® and Cobb Theatres, among other tenants, ONE DAYTONA is a joint venture between International Speedway Corporation (ISC) and Jacoby Development.

“We’re very excited about featuring an upscale, full-service boutique hotel as part of the ONE DAYTONA experience,” said ISC CEO Lesa France Kennedy. “This type of property reiterates our commitment to offering an unparalleled hospitality experience for our fans, visitors and residents in 2016.” 

The partnership between Shaner Hotels, one of the foremost owner-operator companies in the hospitality industry and PHG, a premier hotel developer in Florida, will offer a new level of sophistication and add to the transformation along International Speedway Boulevard.

ONE DAYTONA Update 

Lease agreements have been executed with Bass Pro Shops®, America’s most popular outdoor store, and Cobb Theatres, the highly respected Southeastern-based exhibitor, as anchor tenants of ONE DAYTONA. Terms have been reached with other businesses and announcements on new tenants are forthcoming. These additional businesses will further enhance the exciting environment of ONE DAYTONA.

The first phase of ONE DAYTONA, which includes world class shopping, dining, hotel, theater and other entertainment, is projected to open in 2016.
